Unexpected Twists Await in Drama 'Good Boy' as Crime Team Faces New Challenges

The elite crime-fighting team 'Good Vengers,' featuring stars Park Bo-gum, Kim So-hyun, Lee Sang-yi, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok, is basking in media attention for achieving the largest success since the nation's founding. However, the production team has teased an unexpected rollercoaster twist in today's (15th) episode, sparking curiosity among viewers.

In the previous episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'Good Boy,' Min Joo-young, backed by powerful figures from the police and prosecution, managed to evade the law. She further strengthened her evil cartel by involving Russian mafia 'Leo' (Go Jun) and new drug manufacturer 'Magwi' (Lee Ho-jung). The crime team mistakenly believed Magwi to be a 190cm tall male and ended up protecting her as a victim at the drug lab explosion site. Ji Han-na (Kim So-hyun) remains vigilant, considering her as either a key witness or a suspect, but the police's dangerous alliance with Magwi, whom no one suspects, creates a tense atmosphere.

The preview video released after the broadcast shows the situation taking a different turn. The crime team is seen briefing the media under the title of "the largest success since the nation's founding," with team leader Go Man-sik (Heo Sung-tae) celebrating alongside his rival, Detective Ahn Dae-yong (Han Kyu-won).

However, the mood shifts dramatically after the briefing, according to the production team. A pre-released still captures Go Man-sik, Yoon Dong-joo (Park Bo-gum), Ji Han-na, Kim Jong-hyun (Lee Sang-yi), and Shin Jae-hong (Tae Won-seok) looking tense and alert. The tension escalates with a chilling line from the new villain 'Magwi,' who left a strong impression in the last episode.

In the preview's ending, Min Joo-young ominously states, "My friend is the daughter of the special team leader," revealing a sinister expression. The malicious gaze of Min Joo-young and Magwi seems to be directed at team leader Go Man-sik, hinting at impending danger.

The production team stated, "In the 6th episode airing on the 15th, the storyline will take an unexpected turn, putting the crime team on a rollercoaster of events. As Min Joo-young's malevolent influence lurks everywhere, it remains to be seen how the crime team will counter this threat. We hope you enjoy the intense excitement unique to 'Good Boy.'"
