'Animals Are Great' Secures Regular Slot with New Host Defconn

The popular KBS2 variety show 'Animals Are Great' has officially secured a regular programming slot. In this new format, Defconn will take over as the host, replacing Seo Jang-hoon who led the pilot episodes.

Originally aired as a three-part pilot starting on September 29, 'Animals Are Great' has captivated audiences with its unique approach to exploring the lives of animals as friends and family members. The show uses 'animal cams' to delve into the daily lives of pets and their owners, aiming to provide heartwarming stories and promote a positive pet culture.

Joining Defconn as hosts are Eun Ji-won, known for his witty remarks, and Jang Do-yeon, a rising star celebrated for her empathetic nature. Together, they promise to bring energy and warmth to the show.

The 'Anivengers,' a team of experts who provided valuable insights during the pilot, will also return. This includes dog behavior expert Go Ji-an, animal law attorney Jo Chan-hyung, and cat veterinarian Kim Myung-chul, who will offer even sharper perspectives and informative content.

'Animals Are Great' is set to premiere its regular episodes on the 16th at 10:35 AM.
