Yoon Jin Lee Opens Up About Anxiety Amid Divorce and Custody Challenges
Yoon Jin Lee, who recently decided to divorce actor Lee Beom-soo while caring for their two children, has revealed that scheduled visitation days contribute significantly to her anxiety.
On the October 12th episode of TV Chosun's 'Now Alone,' Yoon Jin Lee visited a psychiatrist to discuss her struggles with sleep disorders and anxiety. She admitted, "My level of anxiety has been high," expressing her psychological distress. Yoon shared, "As the wife of a well-known person and a family member, I have my flaws and a cute side as the youngest daughter. However, people label me as a 'supermom,' which is burdensome because it doesn't reflect who I truly am." When asked if her anxiety has spiked recently, Yoon confessed, "I have online visitation rights scheduled once or twice a month. As the day approaches, I can't sleep for several nights." She continued, "It's a day when I can see my ex-husband and son online, but the anxiety rises, and not being able to sleep on time is very unsettling." Yoon revealed that watching 'Soonpoong Clinic' helps her sleep when she feels lonely. However, she admitted, "Even watching 'Soonpoong Clinic' doesn't help me sleep before visitation days. I wonder, 'Why am I like this? Am I becoming strange again?'" She also expressed concern about fake news, saying, "I told others I didn't care, but I worry about what my son, who I can't communicate with, might think if he sees it." Yoon expressed regret about the last time she saw her son, Da-eul, saying, "It wasn't during my best time as a mom, and I was extremely sensitive. I feel sorry that was his last memory of me." She added, "I worry about the mental impact on my children from my decision to divorce selfishly instead of enduring it alone."
