Shin Ki-ru Lights Up Wednesday Night with Hilarious Stories on 'Radio Star'

On the October 9th broadcast of MBC's 'Radio Star', Shin Ki-ru showcased her unique presence and witty banter among renowned comedians Lee Kyung-kyu, Lee Yong-jin, and Lee Sun-min.
Shin Ki-ru's humor was explosive from the start. Recalling her time as a special MC on 'Radio Star', she humorously admitted, “I hoped for the MC position, but I lacked the qualifications.” She explained that she would lean forward to listen to guests, inadvertently covering her face, leading her to realize, “That position is not for a plus-sized woman,” drawing laughter from the audience.
Despite the bold remarks from the talk hunters, Shin Ki-ru confidently held her ground. When Kim Gu-ra mentioned that one should visually show their ears to listen to others, she playfully opened one ear wide. As others attempted to mock her, she cleverly retorted, “Mock me in order,” showcasing her quick wit.
She also shared a hilarious story about emotionally connecting with animals, leaving the studio in stitches. During a visit to a friend's horse farm in Jeju with Park Na-rae and Jang Do-yeon, Shin Ki-ru approached a horse, which teared up and refused to eat carrots, delivering a punchline that had everyone laughing.
Shin Ki-ru's side-splitting anecdotes were endless. She recounted a funny incident on a plane where she requested a spare seatbelt due to the short length of the standard one, but the flight attendant misheard it as 'steak'. Additionally, she shared stories about receiving a specially made big-size uniform from Chairman Jung Yong-jin, and the amusing experience of having a custom uniform made for a ceremonial first pitch, which led to an awkward moment with the tailor. Her straightforward and vibrant storytelling captivated the audience.
Through her captivating storytelling on 'Radio Star', Shin Ki-ru enchanted viewers, offering a delightful and humorous healing experience.
