Jeon Jong-seo Addresses School Bullying Allegations at 'Queen Woo' Press Conference
Actress Jeon Jong-seo has addressed the school bullying allegations against her.
The press conference for the TVING original series 'Queen Woo' (written by Lee Byung-hak, directed by Jung Se-gyo) was held on the afternoon of the 27th at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. The event was attended by director Jung Se-gyo, writer Lee Byung-hak, Jeon Jong-seo, Kim Moo-yeol, Jung Yoo-mi, and Lee Soo-hyuk. On this day, Jeon Jong-seo addressed her attendance at the official event following the bullying allegations, stating, "As I previously clarified through my agency, the allegations are completely untrue. If they were true, I wouldn't be able to confidently present my work in front of the public and the press. It's truly regrettable to be caught up in such matters. I am committed to healing those who have been hurt through my future activities and am working diligently with my agency to resolve this issue. However, today is about introducing 'Queen Woo,' so I kindly ask for your understanding and focus on the series."
'Queen Woo' is a historical action drama that follows Queen Woo (played by Jeon Jong-seo) as she struggles to establish a new king within 24 hours amidst the sudden death of the king, targeted by princes vying for the throne and five tribes seeking power. The series is a collaboration between director Jung Se-gyo, known for the film 'Oh! My Gran,' and writer Lee Byung-hak of 'The Royal Tailor.' The cast includes Jeon Jong-seo, Kim Moo-yeol, Jung Yoo-mi, Lee Soo-hyuk, Park Ji-hwan, and Ji Chang-wook.
'Queen Woo' will release Part 1 on the 29th and Part 2 on September 12th.
