Xdinary Heroes Express Their Admiration for Rock Legend Yoon Do-hyun on 'Live Wire'

Xdinary Heroes, the rising band, openly express their admiration for the 'legendary rocker' Yoon Do-hyun.

On the upcoming episode of Mnet's 'Live Wire', airing at 7 PM on the 18th, the four-year-old band Xdinary Heroes (members Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, JunHan, and Jooyeon) will appear alongside the 30-year veteran national rock band YB (members Yoon Do-hyun, Park Tae-hee, Kim Jin-won, and Heo Jun). The episode promises a shining moment of cross-generational band friendship and music.

During the broadcast, Xdinary Heroes recall their first meeting with Yoon Do-hyun, saying, "The impression of meeting Do-hyun hyung for the first time still lingers. We were nervous to meet such a legendary rocker, but he walked in, looked around, and sat down. He was the rocker himself." Yoon Do-hyun humorously adds, "They were nervous and said, 'Hyung, we'll sing 'Park Hwa-satang' for you!' which surprised me. Then they suggested singing their song together, so I learned it on the spot and sang along."

Xdinary Heroes also reveal how they first encountered Yoon Do-hyun. They share, "We were shocked by a video of Yoon Do-hyun hyung performing a metal version of the 'Pororo' song with growling at a college festival." This revelation leads Yoon Do-hyun to perform the 'Pororo' OST in his growling style upon request, sparking curiosity.

Additionally, Xdinary Heroes and YB are set to captivate viewers with a metal-infused stage and a surprise joint performance, offering a unique experience not seen on other music shows.

The meeting of Xdinary Heroes and YB, showcasing the essence of living as a band in this era, high-quality performances, and mutual respect and consideration across generations, will air on the 5th episode of Mnet's 'Live Wire' at 7 PM on both Mnet and tvN.
