Ji Hyun-woo Undergoes Emergency Surgery After Car Accident

Ji Hyun-woo, who was involved in a car accident, is undergoing emergency surgery.

In the 41st episode of KBS2's weekend drama 'Beauty and the Innocent Man,' airing today (24th), Kim Ji-young (played by Im Soo-hyang) anxiously waits for Go Pil-seung (played by Ji Hyun-woo) to regain consciousness.

Ji-young, who had rejected Pil-seung's confession, witnessed his car accident and revealed her true identity as Park Do-ra-im to the unconscious Pil-seung, shocking the viewers. The stills released today (24th) show Ji-young's tearful and heart-wrenching state.

Ji-young, who is desperately waiting for Pil-seung to come out of surgery, is seen crying in agony. Her pain is palpable to the viewers. Ji-young contacts Pil-seung's family to inform them of the situation, and they rush to the hospital in despair over Pil-seung's condition. The suspense builds as viewers wonder if Pil-seung will regain consciousness.

Pil-seung's biological mother, Jang Soo-yeon (played by Lee Il-hwa), also arrives. Pil-seung's parents, Go Hyun-chul (played by Lee Doo-il) and Kim Sun-young (played by Kim Sun-young), along with his biological mother Soo-yeon, pray for the successful completion of his surgery. Particularly, Gong Jin-taek (played by Park Sang-won) waits anxiously for Pil-seung to wake up, feeling both guilt and gratitude for Pil-seung's sacrifice to save Gong Ma-ri (played by Han Soo-ah). The unpredictable developments keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
