Jang Na-ra “Appeared on ‘Good Partner’ thanks to my husband’s strong recommendation”
Actress Jang Na-ra revealed that if she were to get divorced, she would like to leave it to her character, Cha Eun-kyung.
On the 10th, a production presentation for SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'Good Partner' was held at SBS Hall in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Director Kim Garam and actors Jang Na-ra, Nam Ji-hyun, Kim Jun-han, and Pyo Ji-hoon (P.O) attended the event.
'Good Partner' is a cold and hot human legal office drama about Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Na-ra), a star lawyer whose vocation is divorce, and Han Yu-ri (played by Nam Ji-hyun), a new lawyer who is experiencing divorce for the first time. Choi Yu-na, a divorce lawyer, wrote the book herself.
Cha Eun-kyung, played by Jang Na-ra, is a veteran star lawyer who is straightforward and a bit harsh and efficient. Jang Na-ra, a newlywed who has been married for three years, said, "When I read the script at home, my husband was watching it with me. I decided to do it because of his strong recommendation. I have a big stake in it." There is a big gap in the relationship. When I see sad or unfair stories during filming, why do I want to never get married? But when I get home from work, I ask my husband, 'Are you here~?' “Because it’s like this,” he said shyly.
When asked if her thoughts on divorce changed while filming the work, Jang Na-ra said, "It would be great if the divorce system could be avoided, but I also thought that it was necessary. In life, dissonance sometimes arises and there are relationships that become negative. “I felt that the institution of divorce needed to exist in a functional way,” he said.
If you were going through a divorce, which lawyer would you want to hire? Jang Na-ra said, "I don't want to meet the character of Cha Eun-kyung. But if I get divorced, I want to leave it to Cha Eun-kyung."
