It is an adaptation of the webtoons ‘Money Game’ and ‘Pygame’ by author Bae Jin-soo, which recorded 300 million cumulative global views.
He also talked about working with Ryu Jun-yeol. Director Han Jae-rim said, "I really liked it. I saw him once during 'The King', but we didn't become friends at that time. We didn't say much. When I suggested this work, he said he would do it without seeing anything. I was grateful." He added, "I was really surprised when I got to do the work. It suited the character well. The third floor is a very important character, and it is a difficult role that has to be carried out even when it is OK, so I worked hard.”
