On the October 13th episode of KBS 2TV's 'Crazy Rich Koreans' (referred to as 'CRK'), singer Hwasa candidly shared her feelings following the 'obscenity controversy.'
During the episode, Hwasa treated her hardworking staff to a Korean meal for the first time in 19 days while on her North American tour. She spent 650,000 KRW on the dinner for six, stating, "I don't spare money when it comes to team dinners."
Prior to the tour, Hwasa faced a potential show-stopping injury when she fractured her toe. "I dropped a dumbbell on my toe and was terrified I wouldn't be able to perform," she confessed.

Hwasa, known for her dedication on stage, was previously reported to the police by the Student Parent Human Rights Protection Association for a performance at a university festival, which led to an 'obscenity controversy.' The case was closed with no charges.
"When the criticism peaked, my mom called me for the first time asking, 'Is my daughter okay?' That one question broke my heart," Hwasa shared.

Hwasa admitted to secretly crying out of gratitude for her staff who stood by her silently during tough times. "I cried a lot behind the scenes because I was so thankful," she confessed.
Recalling her emotional struggles, Hwasa said, "I had a panic attack at the Turkish airport, and my staff hugged me all at once. It was an unconscious act of protection that moved me to tears."
