Jo Yeo-jeong's 'Tarot' officially invited to Cannes International Series Short Film Competition

On the 12th (local time), the Cannes International Series Festival announced that it would officially invite 'Tarot' to the short film competition section. The Cannes Series is a festival held for dramas and series content from around the world and will be held in Cannes, France from April 5 to 10, and marks its 7th anniversary this year.
'Tarot' (directed by Choi Byeong-gil) is a cruel horror mystery that unfolds as people living in reality encounter a gruesome fate predicted by tarot cards that suddenly appear, and was the first Korean film to be invited to the Cannes Series short film competition. It is also the only K-content among the works that entered this year's Cannes Series feature-length, short-length, and documentary competition categories.
'Tarot', an omnibus format consisting of 7 episodes, includes 'Single Storage Box', 'Fishing', 'Santa's Visit', 'Please Throw It Away', 'Going Home', 'Rental Mom', and 'Couple Manager'. . Among a total of 7 stories, 'Santa's Visit', starring Cho Yeo-jeong, was selected for the short story competition category. 'Santa's Visit' is a strange and eerie Christmas mystery that unfolds between Jo Yeo-jeong (Ji-woo), a working mother raising her daughter alone, and her young daughter left at home.
