Sunye, former member of Wonder Girls, opened up about her 10-year journey as a mother on Channel A's '4-Person Table'.

On the October 14th episode, featuring singer Lee Ji-hoon, Sunye and Kim Dong-jun joined the discussion.

Park Kyung-lim, upon seeing Sunye, remarked, "Sunye used to be very quiet, but now she seems assertive and confident, especially after her musical experience."

Sunye responded, "Raising children has changed me a lot. I've grown personally, and without those 10 years as a mother, my acting skills wouldn't have improved."

After marrying in 2013 and having a honeymoon baby, Sunye shared, "I had to become a mom right after marriage at the young age of 24. I knew nothing and had to live in Canada. Back then, there wasn't much information online about childbirth, so I bought books before leaving."

When asked if she felt lonely in the quiet Canadian evenings, Sunye replied, "They say ignorance is bliss. But the joy of having and raising children was immense. Just looking at them made me happy. A new world opened up with my kids, and I found happiness in being a mother."

In 2023, Sunye made her comeback with the musical 'Ruth'. Co-star Lee Ji-hoon praised her vocal strength, saying, "I was curious about how she would perform, and her vocal power has improved."

Kim Dong-jun noted, "She wasn't the loud type before," to which Sunye humorously attributed her vocal strength to raising three kids, saying, "Yelling 'Hey, hey, hey!' at them helped."

Sunye admitted, "I struggled with my first project. It was tough, but watching Lee Ji-hoon helped me learn a lot. As work increased, I moved back to Korea with my family in 2023. With three daughters, they have a clear hierarchy and manage well on their own."
