Choi Woo-sik and Park Bo-young cast in youth romance 'melo movie'

Actors Choi Woo-sik, Park Bo-young, Lee Jun-young, and Jeon So-ni have confirmed their appearances in Netflix's new series 'Melo Movie'.

On the 22nd, Netflix announced this news. 'Melomovie' depicts a movie-like time in which ambiguous young people who want to fall in love and fulfill their dreams discover each other, become inspiration, and overcome their respective traumas.

A page of youth writing down their dreams and love, letting go of the wounds and traumas they each carry, is expected to stimulate warm emotions amid pleasant laughter. Director Oh Choong-hwan, who worked on the dramas 'Diva on a Desert Island', 'Big Mouth', 'Start-Up', and 'Hotel Del Luna', and writer Lee Na-eun, who showed the essence of youth romance through 'That Year We Were', are teaming up.

Attention is also drawn to the meeting of Choi Woo-sik and Park Bo-young. Go-Gyeom, played by Choi Woo-sik, is a character who goes from a minor actor to a critic. He loves movies so much that his dream is to watch all the movies in the world. In Gogyeom's eyes, a Kim movie that he is very curious about, like the rules of a romantic movie, and whose name he likes, comes into view.

Park Bo-young plays the role of Kim Moo-bi. Kim Movie is a person who entered the film industry with a mixture of love and hatred for his father, who valued movies more than himself, and a curiosity about 'what on earth is a movie?' Go-gyeom, a man who stands out too much, suddenly barges into the movie life of a person who wants to live quietly in the world and causes change. Expectations are focused on the chemistry between Choi Woo-sik and Park Bo-young, who will melt the hearts of viewers by delicately unfolding the growth and romance of two very different youth.

Lee Jun-young and Jeon So-ni join here. Lee Jun-young prides himself on being a genius, but in reality, he transforms into Hong Si-jun, an unknown composer. Hong Si-jun's ex-lover and screenwriter Son Joo-ah is played by Jeon So-ni. The performances of Lee Jun-young and Jeon So-ni, who will show a different side of youth by playing Hong Si-jun and Son Joo-ah, will also be a highlight.
