Lee Dong-hae ♥ Lee Seol, break up after 7 years of dating

In the second episode of Channel A's Tuesday drama 'Man and Woman', which aired on the 2nd, Jeong Hyun-seong (played by Lee Dong-hae) and Han Seong-ok (played by Lee Seol), a long-term couple in their 7th year of dating, were on the verge of breaking up due to misunderstandings and conflicts.
After fighting with Seong-ok earlier, Hyun-seong called his friends over for drinks out of mixed feelings, and ended up going to a motel room with a strange woman. As Hyun-seong came out of the motel, holding his head in despair, he came face to face with Seong-ok, who was with another person of the opposite sex in front of the elevator that had stopped on the third floor.
After fighting with Hyun-seong, Seong-ok took off her coupling ring and headed to a bar to meet Jong-hyun (Baek Seong-hyun), a college senior and owner of a personal jewelry brand. When hanging out with Jonghyun was boring, Seong-ok called Eun-jeong (played by Park Jeong-hwa) and lamented, “I can’t handle being with another man.” After much deliberation, she contacted Hyun-seong first, but when she still didn’t get an answer, she went back to drinking with Jong-hyun. He expressed his frustration by continuing to drink strong alcohol.
Hyun-seong, who had been drinking with Ji-soo (played by Hong Sae-rom) through the arrangement of Si-hu (played by Choi Won-myeong), carried the drunk Ji-soo on his back and entered the motel room. Hyunseong, who hesitated for a moment due to Jisoo's temptation, left Jisoo sleeping and walked outside. Hyeonseong, overcome with self-destruction, takes the elevator to get out of the motel. As the motel elevator door opened on the third floor, Hyunseong made eye contact with Seongok, who was with Jonghyun, and could not hide his surprise. As soon as Seong-ok found Hyun-seong, she followed Jong-hyun's lead with a stern expression on her face as if her soul had been lost, but she couldn't ignore Hyun-seong standing behind her. Hyun-seong, who discovered that there was no coupling ring on Seong-ok's finger, became angry at the reality of not being able to follow Seong-ok, and an exciting development continued as the two's precarious relationship reached its peak.
Just when Hyeon-seong didn't know what to do due to his persistent anger, he received a call from Seong-ok. Although he was annoyed by the situation, he was heartbroken to hear Seong-ok crying. Hyun-seong also says to Seong-ok, who feels sorry, “I’m sorry. “Han Seong-ok is doing well,” he said as his last words, and he called again as if this wasn’t the case, but his cell phone was broken by a passing motorcycle, indicating that the two eventually broke up.
Hyun-seong recalled memories of Seong-ok, who was always by his side, and asked, “Did we really break up? “I don’t know yet,” he said, missing Seongok’s empty seat. Seong-ok, who was gathering jewelry design tools in the atelier studio without Hyun-seong, felt sad in the arms of Eun-jeong, who came to see her as if she had realized that she was breaking up with Hyun-seong.
Meanwhile, the story of Min-hyuk (played by Lim Jae-hyuk) and Hye-ryeong (played by Yoon Ye-ju), who have been friends for 15 years, was also revealed, causing new excitement. As befits the Freeta family, Minhyuk, who works part-time at a convenience store, refuses Hye-ryeong's offer to drink together to prevent unplanned spending, but ends up drinking together thanks to Hye-ryeong's overflowing charm. Min-hyuk, who missed the last bus after drinking with Hye-ryeong, was embarrassed to have to take a taxi, which costs quite a lot of money. Hye-ryeong looked at Min-hyuk and shook Min-hyuk's heart by saying, “I used to like you?” There was a strange tension between them.
In despair, Hyun-seong visited his friends and vented his gloomy energy, and suffered from the aftereffects of the breakup, such as entrusting his cell phone to Si-hoo and Hyeong-seop (played by Kim Hyun-mok), thinking that he might get drunk and call Seong-ok. Si-hoo and Hyeong-seop, who were watching him, headed to a karaoke room to change the mood, and the repeated situation of Hyun-seong singing a depressing breakup song as the two cheered up the mood made them laugh.
Hyun-seong was drunk and began to tell Si-hoo and Hyeong-seop for their cell phones, and the two unlocked Hyeon-seong's lock screen and deleted Seong-ok's phone number. Hyun-seong, who was walking aimlessly with his cell phone, suddenly stood in front of Seong-ok's house and instinctively called her. As soon as the ringtone stopped, he asked, "Han Seong-ok, aren't you having a hard time? I miss you. There was a time when we met, so how can we break up? “I’m having a hard time,” he spat. However, after receiving a rejected signal, Hyun-seong turned around dejected and faced Seong-ok, who was standing with an empty suitcase in tow.
