'Gyeongseong Creature' Park Seo-joon "From the first filming, I suffered to the point where I thought it was torture and hazing."
On the 19th, a production presentation for the Netflix original series 'Gyeongseong Creature' was held at Layer 20 Studio located in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Actors Park Seo-joon, Han So-hee, Su-hyeon, Kim Hae-sook, Jo Han-cheol, and director Jeong Dong-yoon attended the event.
'Gyeongseong Creature' is a work that tells the story of two young people whose only thing was survival, confronting a monster born of greed in the spring of 1945, when the darkness of the era was deepest. Director Jeong Dong-yoon, who directed 'Stove League', and writer Kang Eun-kyung, who wrote the 'Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim' series, 'Gu Family Book', and 'Baker King Kim Tak-gu', have teamed up.
Park Seo-joon played the role of Jang Tae-sang, the owner of Geumokdang, the largest pawn shop in Gyeongseong, and a person who holds all the necessary information in Bonjeong Street.
Park Seo-joon said that the first filming scene was torture, saying, "I remember it as a cold day. My whole body got wet as I kept getting water. I had a hard time from the beginning to the point where I thought it was a newbie. If the beginning of this drama is like this, I have expectations about what the end will be like. “I had a strong impression,” he recalled.
Park Seo-joon shows off his understated romance with Han So-hee. He said, “What I always worry about is controlling the speed and pace. I think there is an emotion line, and it is the actor who has to express it in a way that makes sense, and in what part it feels that way.” He added, “There is an atmosphere and emotion that a situation gives, so when you look at Chae-ok, you can feel that feeling.” “I think it could have been made,” he said.
‘Gyeongseong Creature’ Part 1 will be released on December 22nd, and Part 2 will be released on January 5th.
