Former Basketball Coach Kim Tae-sool Opens Up About Sudden Dismissal on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2'
Kim Tae-sool, who was appointed as the youngest head coach three years after retiring as a player, spoke about his dismissal just five months into his tenure.
Under Kim's leadership, the Goyang Sono team remained at the bottom of the professional basketball league, leading to his dismissal before completing his four-year contract.
He added, "In the professional world, such things can happen at any time, so I didn't see it as a hardship," acknowledging the reality of the situation.
Fellow basketball player Seo Jang-hoon commented on Kim's dismissal, "He was appointed mid-season and was let go after just half a season. It ended before he could even start."
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-sool shared his newfound appreciation for the importance of English, stating, "I realized the importance of English while coaching, as it would help in communicating better with foreign players," and has since dedicated himself to learning the language.
