Actor Song Kang shared his thoughts on the reduced amount of content compared to Season 1.

Song Kang met with Ten Asia at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 5th and told various stories about the Netflix original series 'Sweet Home 2'.

'Sweet Home 2', which was released on the 1st, is a world where desire becomes a monster, Hyun-soo (played by Song Kang) and the survivors of Green Home, who leave Green Home and fight each other to survive in a new home, and the lives of another being. A work that depicts new desires, events, and struggles, including the emergence and unknown mysterious phenomena.

Hyunsu, played by Song Kang, became the only hope for the apartment residents by withstanding the transformation into a monster, but after leaving Green Home, he goes through a series of events and ends up standing alone.

Song Kang said, “As Season 2 is a continuation of Season 1, I took the emotions from Season 1 as is and focused only on the parts that needed to be matured.” He added, “The part I focused on the most was facial expressions. In Season 1, I treated my emotions like a child. “If I was trying to express it, in Season 2, I tried to show the maturity that can overcome all lonely battles without feeling any emotions,” he said.

When asked about the reaction of those around him after the release of Season 2, Song Kang said, "I didn't look for it. None of my friends around me talked about it. I think they don't contact me because they don't like being contacted." He added, "There is a group chat room at high school, but they don't talk about it much." “We are all in our 30s and have to live our own lives, so I don’t think we are interested in others,” he said with a laugh.

Song Kang said he watched Season 1 again before filming Season 2, and said, "My face was much younger. I did my best when filming Season 1, so rather than regret or disappointment, a lot of memories came to mind."

Some viewers expressed disappointment that Song Kang did not appear from episodes 4 to 6. In response, Song Kang said, "I think it's because there aren't as many episodes compared to Season 1, but I think the writer's intention was clear. I think Season 2 is an intermediate step for Season 3."
