In 'The Matchmakers', actor Rowoon felt betrayed after hearing rumors about Jo Yi-hyun and misunderstanding them.

In episode 8 of KBS2's Monday-Tuesday drama 'The Matchmakers', which aired on the 27th, a scene was depicted in which Shim Jeong-woo (played by Rowoon) escapes a crisis thanks to Jeong Soon-deok (played by Jo Yi-hyeon).

On this day, Jeong Soon-deok threw himself into the river to save Sim Jeong-woo. Jeong Sun-deok, who saw Shim Jeong-woo coming to his senses, got angry and asked, "Are you crazy? Why did you jump in when you can't even swim?" In response, Sim Jeong-woo slyly said, “I learned how to swim yesterday from a book.” Jeong Soon-deok, who managed to calm his shocked mind, even treated Sim Jeong-woo's wounds.

Soon-gu Jeong (played by Nam-joon Heo) and Oh-bong Kim (played by Hyun-mok Kim) arrived late and checked their condition. Jeong Soon-deok, who jumped into the water to save Sim Jeong-woo, had her makeup removed. Jeong Soon-gu, who was looking at Jeong Soon-deok blankly, asked, “You’re Sun-deok, right?” and Jeong Soon-deok replied, “I’ll explain everything later, so don’t say anything.” Hearing this, Jeong Soon-gu looked betrayed and said, “Are you pretending to be Yeoju’s wife all this time?” Jeong Soon-deok said, “Your brother has never recognized your only sister,” and hurriedly left the place.

Afterwards, Mrs. Park (played by Park Ji-young) came to the annex where Jeong Soon-deok was staying. Jeong Sun-deok, who was dressed as a lady's wife, hurriedly hid her clothes, and Mrs. Park suggested that she go and visit, saying, "I'm worried that Ye-jin is on edge these days." Soon-gu Jeong, who found out that his younger brother was Yeoju's wife because his makeup had been removed, went to see Soon-deok Jeong and emphasized that it was dangerous to hide his identity. When Jeong Sun-deok said that he did it because Sim Jeong-woo was in danger, Jeong Sun-gu asked, “Do you like Gyeongwoonjae?” However, Jeong Soo-deok, who was embarrassed, nailed it and said, “For the rest of my life, you are my only husband.”

The next day, Mrs. Park vented her anger when her plan to kidnap the crown prince (played by Hong Dong-young) failed. He confidently reassured his subordinates who were afraid that the king (played by Jo Han-cheol) would find out the truth, saying, "There will be no accusations." In the end, the king tolerated the incident, and the investigation was stopped.

At the same time, Soon-deok Jeong, Jeong-woo Shim, Sam-soon Maeng (played by Jeong Bo-min), and Soon-gu Jeong were talking about their future direction. Suddenly, Maeng Sam-soon asked Sim Jeong-woo, “Captain Gyeong Woon-jae. Do you like Yeoju’s wife?” and he was taken aback. In addition, Maeng Sam-soon said, “Then how about me as the bride of the officer, Nari,” which embarrassed Jeong Sun-gu. Soon-deok Jeong followed Sam-soon Maeng outside and asked him why he suddenly confessed, but Sam-soon Maeng calmly said, “I will continue with Miner No. 23 as usual.” Meanwhile, Maeng Ha-na (played by Shin Jeong-hye) became a relationship while rescuing the crown prince who was in danger. After hearing the news, Jungjeon went to Maeng Hana's house, and the crown prince returned to the palace. The two continued to write letters to each other.

Additionally, Yeoju’s wife became engulfed in rumors. Kim Oh-bong told Shim Jeong-woo the rumor that Yeo Joo-daek was a murderer. Shim Jeong-woo said to Jeong Sun-deok, "Is it true that you said that your name is Sun-deok and that you lost your husband five years ago? How long did you think you could lie about your identity? You gave me a great sense of betrayal. Our matchmaking contract has been broken as of this time. “I was overcome with a sense of betrayal. Soon-deok Jeong tried to explain, but Jeong-woo Shim did not listen and became angry.
