Kim Ho-jung and Espero perform together with ‘Immortal Songs’

KBS' 'Immortal Songs' will feature fantastic performances by seniors and juniors in its third 'Oh My Star' special.

Episode 592 of KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs', which will be aired on the 4th, will feature a special feature called '2023 Oh My Star'. This special feature includes a total of 10 teams, including Sunye & Jo Kwon, Hong Jin-young & Park Gwang-seon, Lee Bo-ram & HYNN (Park Hye-won), Jeong Seon-ah & Min Woo-hyuk, Nam Sang-il & Shin Seung-tae, Park Wan-gyu & Yoon Seong, Kim Jo-han & UV, Yoon Hyeong-ju & Glass Box, Kim Young-im & Yang Ji-eun, and Kim Ho-jung & Espero. Named on the lineup.

This special feature is based on the concept of star seniors who have gone before and juniors who are following in their footsteps on the same stage, and it is expected to be a refreshing stimulus for seniors and a dream-like honor for juniors. 'Oh My Star' is a special feature that was first planned in 2021 and received great love, and will be featured for the third time this year following 2022. This special feature, a signature of ‘Immortal Songs,’ boasts an unprecedented lineup.

Sunye and Jo Kwon, who are close seniors and juniors and have developed a strong friendship over a long period of time, will perform together. Yoon Seong, the winner of last week's 'Heavenly High Note Ender' special, will go on stage with 'rocker senior' Park Wan-gyu, whom he showed affection for by calling him 'Wan-gyu unnie'. Also, the duet between WSG Wannabe member and senior/junior Lee Bo-ram and HYNN (Park Hye-won) is also of interest. Attention is being paid to what the stage will be like between Kim Ho-jung and Espero, who have recently been attracting attention for their close friendship.

Jeong Sun-ah & Min Woo-hyuk selected the OST from the movie ‘The Greatest Showman’, Nam Sang-il & Shin Seung-tae selected Na Hoon-ah’s ‘Give Back My Youth’, and Park Wan-gyu & Yoon Seong selected Park Kyung-hee’s ‘Brilliant Light in Those Flowers’. Kim Jo-han & UV are Boyz II Men's 'End Of The Road', Yun Hyeong-ju & Glass Box are Twin Folio 'Wedding Cake' and Yun Hyeong-ju's 'Our Story', Kim Young-im & Yang Ji-eun are 'Jeongseon Arirang' and Kim Soo-cheol's 'Starry', Kim Ho-jung & Espero sets the stage with Lee Seung-cheol's 'Western Sky'.

In this special feature, the chemistry and synergy of the seniors and juniors who form a team is expected to be the main point that decides the game. In addition, many beautiful behind-the-scenes stories that fill the gap between seniors and juniors will be released.

While expectations are high on what kind of stage the seniors and juniors of these 10 teams will perform, attention is being paid to which team will receive the honor of winning the final championship with the support of many famous song judges.

This '2023 Oh My Star' special is scheduled to be broadcast over two weeks from the 4th to the 11th.
