Betrayal and Triumph: '2 Days & 1 Night' Episode Unveils Unexpected Twists

Lee Joon's betrayal led to the failure of the plan to overthrow DinDin.

On the episode of KBS2's variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' aired on the 3rd, the second part of the 'Naju Trip by Boat' in Naju, Jeollanam-do was revealed. The episode recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 6.8% according to Nielsen Korea, with the scene of Kim Jong-min, Lee Joon, and DinDin completing additional work peaking at 9.2%.

At the base camp, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team engaged in the 'Headbutt Quiz King' mission, with charcoal-grilled pork belly at stake. Members had to headbutt another member to gain the opportunity to answer, leading to intense mind games.

Amidst the fierce competition, Moon Se-yoon, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho won the dinner. After dining, the five members returned to the base camp, enjoying the spring vibes while viewing the cherry blossoms along the reservoir.

Back at the base camp, the members embarked on the individual 'Chase Yogurt' mission. They had to hide two yogurts with their names inside the accommodation and find other members' yogurts within 15 minutes. If they failed to find three members' yogurts within the time limit, they would all have to sleep outdoors.

Before the mission began, a secret alliance was formed among four members to defeat DinDin, known as the brain game master. Despite being an individual game, they united under the common goal of 'overthrowing DinDin,' even creating secret signals.

However, once the mission started, members struggled to find DinDin's yogurt. Meanwhile, DinDin found other members' yogurts one by one, putting pressure on the alliance. To make matters worse, Kim Jong-min and Moon Se-yoon failed to coordinate, making the goal seem unattainable.

With only Kim Jong-min and Yoo Seon-ho's yogurts found, the time limit dwindled to one minute. As outdoor sleeping seemed inevitable, Lee Joon submitted Moon Se-yoon's yogurt with just five seconds left, concluding the 'Chase Yogurt' mission.

As a result, Lee Joon and DinDin secured indoor sleeping, while Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, and Yoo Seon-ho were confirmed for outdoor sleeping. Moon Se-yoon expressed disappointment over Lee Joon's betrayal, saying, "We've become a rat's tail." Meanwhile, DinDin, triumphant in the 1 vs. 4 battle, taunted, "No matter how hard four people try, it doesn't work. Look at the results."

Before sleeping, the production team confiscated the '2 Days & 1 Night' team's phones and watches, announcing, "Tomorrow's wake-up song will play at 8:12 AM," adding to the members' confusion.

The next morning, after hearing the wake-up song, the members discovered a wake-up mission with the message, "Ring the bell at 8:50 AM." Without phones or watches, they began deducing the current time using various hints.

DinDin and Lee Joon, still a team, secretly calculated the time to ring the bell. Moon Se-yoon used the periodic sound of a belly clock as a hint, while Yoo Seon-ho referred to the TV schedule to estimate the time.

When each member's estimated 8:50 AM arrived, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team rang the bell in the order of Moon Se-yoon, Yoo Seon-ho, DinDin, Lee Joon, and Kim Jong-min. Moon Se-yoon and Yoo Seon-ho, closest to 8:50 AM, were exempted from additional work and received Naju local gift certificates for breakfast.

Kim Jong-min, Lee Joon, and DinDin, who lost the wake-up mission, were tasked with helping at a large pear farm. As the work progressed, the three grew quieter, but they regained energy with sweet pear juice, completing the task and wrapping up their Naju trip.
