Korea's first hair loss entertainment show was born.

On the morning of the 4th, the production presentation of MBN and LG Hello Vision's new entertainment program 'Planting Club' was broadcast online. Kim Gwang-gyu, Park Myung-soo, Jang Do-yeon, and CP Kim Seong, who directed the production, attended the event and talked about the program.

‘Planting Club’ is a fun variety show where hair loss people representing Korea from all walks of life come together to compete over ‘planting subsidies’. The broadcast is expected to captivate people with hair loss by revealing everything from a full-scale hair loss talk that 10 million people with hair loss can sympathize with, to various fact checks, effective hair loss prevention and management methods, and tips. Here, a fierce story competition and quiz battle involving hair transplantation are also held.

Producer Kim Seong, who was in charge of directing 'Rice Planting Club' on this day, said, "We planned this to comfort and empathize with the millions of hair loss people. Hair loss talk can be both sad and funny, but isn't it a difficult topic that we want to hide? The intention is to talk about it openly and solve it. “Everything,” he said.

Park Myung-soo, who is well-known for his hair loss, said about appearing on a hair loss program, "I had a lot of trouble with hair loss, and even now, I'm stressed because I'm losing 400 hairs at a time, and I've tried all sorts of things," and "Still, I've suffered from hair loss for 20 to 30 years." But if you weave it here and there with black weeds, it’s worth it,” he said. He continued, “The purpose of the program is good, and I thought it would be good not to miss a single thread. And I think it would be a good fit for me in the sense that we will solve problems together through accurate data.”

Jang Do-yeon said, "It's not that I don't have any concerns about hair loss. I felt like I could sympathize with it as someone who is about to lose hair. I get worried every time I lose a little hair." In response, Park Myung-soo emphasized, "It's not about whether hair falls out or not, but it can be prevented. I thought the purpose was really good because it could reduce the speed of hair loss and prevent it."

Kim Gwang-gyu said, "I was also very surprised to hear that there are as many as 10 million people with hair loss. However, I am not the representative hair loss person in Korea. In fact, if you look at me in person, I have a lot of hair, but if you catch it on camera, it looks like it is not there. In fact, if you look at Park Myung-soo in person, he has a lot of hair." He emphasized, “Even though I don’t have hair, it looks like I have thick hair on camera,” and Park Myung-soo replied, “It’s because I sprayed black hair.”

Park Myung-soo expressed his honest thoughts on hair loss, saying, "Hair loss is aging. It is a problem for all of humanity and cannot be solved scientifically," and Kim Gwang-gyu said, "I think hair loss is hereditary. They say hair needs to receive nutrients, so blood does not flow to the scalp. “I do a headstand and then massage my scalp,” he said, stimulating curiosity about the broadcast by talking about different ways each person deals with hair loss.

‘Rice Planting Club’ will premiere on MBN at 9:20 pm on the 4th. It will be broadcast on LG Hello Vision at 7:30 a.m. on the 5th.
