Jeon Hyun-moo's 'Search My Heart' expected regular programming
MBC's entertainment show 'Tongue Mixed Martial Arts Sechi Tongue' (hereinafter referred to as 'Sechi Tongue'), which will return to regular broadcast on the 28th, released interviews with story masters Jeon Hyun-moo, Bae Seong-jae, Jang Do-yeon, and Yoo Byeong-jae on the 25th.
'Silky Tongue' is a low-stakes sport in which talkers who make a living with their 'tongue' compete in the ring with nothing but stories to determine who is the strongest in the Korean tongue.
During the pilot broadcast, Jeon Hyun-moo took full advantage of his unique witty remarks and hosting skills to show off his irreplaceable charm as a story master who heightened the tension and immersion of the tongue-in-cheek octagon. He said, “I was expecting ‘Sechihyeo’ to be a regular program. “These days, there is so much content and so many platforms, it’s hard to check the response right away, but this is the first time I’ve seen a show that has had this much response since the pilot,” he said, adding that he was confident that ‘Sechiyeo’ would be aired on a regular basis.
Bae Seong-jae, the 'God of Broadcasting', recalled the tongue battle between the first tongue champion, Satire, and 'North Korean defector Sechi-tongue' Yoon Seol-mi, which attracted attention during the pilot broadcast. He said, “It was a battle of force versus force. “The program was able to do well because the final was a dream match,” he said, explaining the reason why ‘Sechihyeok’ was able to be included as a regular program.
Jeon Hyun-moo, who recently completed the recording of the regular season of 'Search Tongue', predicted that a powerful story expert comparable to the champion satire will be born. He said, “I thought the satire of ‘Maramat Sechiyeo’ was the strongest. However, a story about ‘nuclear malamat’ that goes beyond satire, and a star of an incredible story that easily maintains the level of terrestrial broadcasting, appears,” he said, raising expectations for the first broadcast.
Bae Seong-jae predicted the strength of lawyer Yang Na-rae, who is trying again in the regular season. He said, “I have considered him a candidate to win since the pilot. You can't ignore the powerful name and experience level. “It’s a traditional powerhouse,” he explained.
Currently, 'Sechi Tongue' is recruiting the public to find the best Sechi Tongue regardless of genre. Jang Do-yeon highly recommended stand-up comedians who are trending recently. He said, “I want to invite people who do stand-up comedy. “They will be the most specialized people for this program,” he said, encouraging hidden sechi-hyeoks from all over the country to appear. Bae Seong-jae added, “These days, there are many foreigners who have excellent Korean skills, and I hope that foreign performers will also come out and show their ‘A match’.”
Yoo Byeong-jae attracted attention by talking about the changes that have occurred since 'Searchy' became a regular program. “It has become a structured tournament format,” he said. He said, “It will not only be fun to enjoy the story itself, but it will be fun as if you were watching a martial arts stage where the true story leader will be judged.”
Jang Do-yeon said, “We guarantee more fun than you can imagine. “We have prepared stories with more diverse topics, so I hope viewers will show a lot of interest and love,” he said, making people look forward to the first broadcast.
‘Sechi Tongue’, Korea’s first short story sport where talkers who make a living using their tongues compete based solely on stories, will be broadcast for the first time on the 28th at 10 PM.
