I feel a great sense of regret that it was short and passed by in an instant. Nam Haeng-seon from 'One-shot Scandal' was a character I really wanted to play, and it's been a long time since I waited for a bright story. The moment I received the script, I had doubts and was unsure of whether I could do it, but as I was filming, I found myself heading south. So, in fact, I feel like I want to stay longer, but the end has come before I know it,” he said, expressing his special affection for this drama.
He continued, “There aren’t many works where the whole family can get together and laugh and cry together, but ‘One Shot Scandal’ was meaningful because it was a work that I was able to watch with my family. “Thank you so much for your love and interest,” he said in a warm final greeting.
Jeong Kyung-ho, who created a new life character through the role of Choi Chi-yeol, said, “I was happy to be able to spend every moment with Chi-yeol and with the director, writer, and senior Do-yeon whom I really like. As Chichik, who was lonely, met Haengseon and grew further, I was able to grow along with Chichik. He expressed his thoughts with special affection, saying, “I think I felt more affection for him because he had similar aspects to me.” “The seniors, fellow actors, director, writer, and many staff members worked hard, and I was very happy and grateful to be together. Chichichi is giving her final farewell here, but I hope that the happy feelings that viewers have when they think of Chichichi will remain for a long time to come. He showed his affectionate charm until the end with a heartwarming message saying, “Thank you for loving ‘Ilta Scandal,’ Chi Chi, and ‘Hot Couple.’”
Meanwhile, director Yoo Je-won, who directed the show, and writer Yang Hee-seung, who wrote the script, gave their final greetings and also gave points to watch to enjoy the last episode even more. First, Director Yoo Je-won said, “It’s unfortunate. I am very grateful to have received love, but I am even more grateful to have been able to work with good people in the field. Also, I think it was more meaningful because it was my first time working with writer Yang Hee-seung in a long time. “Thank you to everyone who watched,” he said, expressing his sincere gratitude. He continued, “Everyone worked hard with the goal of taking the entrance exam. He stimulated anticipation by saying, “I hope you can watch with ease how the relationships between the people in Nogeun-ro change after the CSAT.”
Lastly, the observation point delivered by writer Yang Hee-seung added to the lingering feeling. “I think there are ‘joys and sorrows’ in every life. Every character in the drama had their own story, agony, and conflict. After watching episode 16, which is the final point of the drama, I hope you get the idea that even though their lives may face further hardships and failures in the future, they will go through all of this and overcome it again, just like we all do. “I think it would be good if you enjoy the ‘fun’ ending rather than the ‘obvious’ ending,” he said, pointing out the final point to watch.
Writer Yang Hee-seung continued, “I am so grateful for the unexpected and undeserved love. When I look back after completing a long journey, I begin to reflect on whether I may have been too greedy. However, what is fortunate is that our youth, Hae-i, Seon-jae, Geon-hu, Su-ah, and Dan-ji, who have maintained their principles and friendship even through difficult entrance exams, and the fierce passion and good deeds that have permeated each other as people, and by their side, steadfastly become their support and support them in their daily lives. Jae-woo and Yeong-ju, who faithfully live the story, even Seon-jae's mother and Su-a's mother who made wrong choices due to excessive obsession and returned to their original places after going a long way, and even Chief Ji, who is a sad villain. The point is that viewers recognized and loved the sincerity of all the characters. “I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the actors who breathed life into the living characters,” he said, adding, “I will do my best to become a writer who writes good dramas.”
