Uhm Jung-hwa and Ra Mi-ran's 'Dr. Cha Jung-sook' and 'Bad Mom' to be released in April

The new Saturday-Sunday drama 'Doctor Cha Jeong-sook', which will hit TV screens as a follow-up to 'Sacred Divorce' in April, depicts the story of Cha Jeong-sook, who went from being a housewife for 20 years to becoming a resident for the first year, as she stitches up her torn life.
Uhm Jeong-hwa, making her first appearance in a JTBC drama, transforms into first-year resident Cha Jeong-sook, heralding the character of her life. Cha Jeong-sook, a first-year resident who is distraught after seeing a bleeding patient and is insecure as she says, "I'm a doctor, but I'm not," will bring laughter and emotion to the audience as she challenges herself to become a doctor, a dream she had put aside for 20 years.
Seo In-ho, Cha Jeong-sook's strict and sensitive husband and head of surgery at a university hospital, is played by actor Kim Byeong-cheol, and Seo In-ho's first love and family medicine professor Choi Seung-hee is played by Myung Se-bin. Here, Min Woo-hyuk participates in the role of free-loving surgeon Roy Kim, adding to the richness of the play.
The newly returning Wednesday-Thursday dramas are filled with 'Bad Mom'. 'Bad Mom' is a touching healing comedy about 'Young-soon', a mother who had no choice but to become a stubbornly bad mother for her child, and 'Kang-ho', a son who became a child, and find the happiness they lost.
Ra Mi-ran takes on the role of Jinyoung-soon, a mother who has lived tenaciously to protect her child. Lee Do-hyun plays Choi Kang-ho, the son of a prosecutor who turns into a child in an unexpected accident, heralding an unprecedented transformation. Yeong-sun, a bad mother who scolded her son Kang-ho cruelly and harshly to protect her child, and Kang-ho, a son who ran solely for success while ignoring his mother, will make viewers laugh and cry as they finally set out to find true happiness after everything is 'reset'.
In addition, a whole army of 'trustworthy treasures' including Ra Mi-ran, Lee Do-hyun, Ahn Eun-jin, Yoo In-soo, Jeong Woong-in, Choi Moo-sung, Seo Yi-sook, Kim Won-hae, Jang Won-young, and Kang Mal-geum are expected to show up to bring life to the drama.
‘Doctor Cha Jeong-sook’ and ‘Bad Mom’ will premiere in April.
