Actor Oh Jeong-se auditioned for the movie ‘Memories of Murder’
Oh Jeong-se will appear on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block', which will be broadcast on October 4th. In the released trailer, Yoo Jae-seok introduced Oh Jeong-se as "an actor who makes us happy in each work."
Oh Jeong-se revealed an episode of 'Cobweb', which was officially invited to the non-competitive section of the Cannes Film Festival. At the time, he told an anecdote that the reason foreign reporters called his name was to "call Mr. Soo-jung next to me," and he also cited director Bong Joon-ho's 'Memories of Murder' as a memorable audition.
Regarding 'Memories of Murder', Oh Jeong-se said, "I don't even know what color Director Bong Joon-ho is." In 'You Quiz', which will be broadcast on the 4th, Oh Jeong-se will reveal the audition story that embarrassed director Bong Joon-ho. Yoo Jae-seok was impressed and said, “There are so many episodes.”
Jo Se-ho also mentioned an episode where he went to an amusement park with Beom-jun, who has an intellectual disability. In response, Oh Jeong-se said, “That friend reached out first.”
Meanwhile, Oh Jeong-se will play the role of top star Kang Jose in the movie 'Spider's Nest' (directed by Kim Ji-woon), which was released today (27th) and will give a passionate performance.
tvN's 'You Quiz' featuring Oh Jeong-se will be broadcast on October 4th.
