‘Baeksang Arts Awards’ Park Eun-bin ‘Grand Prize’ Song Hye-kyo ‘Grand Prize’

On the afternoon of the 28th, the '2023 59th Baeksang Arts Awards' awards ceremony was held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do. Broadcaster Shin Dong-yup and actors Park Bo-gum and Suzy hosted the event, and it was broadcast live on JTBC, JTBC2, JTBC4, and TikTok.

Park Eun-bin continued, "When I was young, I thought that if I didn't give up on my dream of becoming an actor, I would become an adult who could receive the grand prize, and I'm grateful that I was able to make that dream come true. I didn't have a grand dream of playing a part in changing the world, but at least it's better than before." “I acted in the hope that I would be able to foster a kind heart, and that I would recognize each person’s unique characteristics as diverse rather than as different than before, and I am grateful for the interest in my steps,” he said.
At the same time, Park Eun-bin said, "It took quite a while to face 'Woo Young-woo'. I was very afraid because I thought that depending on how Woo Young-woo was expressed, it could cause great hurt to someone. I am glad that I was able to overcome my own frustration and finally finish this work." “It was,” he said, looking back.
Park Eun-bin said, "The line that says, 'My life is strange and eccentric, but valuable and beautiful' is the most memorable. I was happy to be able to tell this story through Woo Young-woo. Even though it was difficult, Young-woo took a powerful step forward while acknowledging, accepting, and embracing his life. “I want to cherish my steps for a long time. I am grateful and love my mom, dad, and brother who have helped me become who I am today with their generous support since 1996,” he expressed his gratitude.

Song Hye-kyo, who was selected as the winner over prominent candidates such as Park Eun-bin, Kim Ji-won, Kim Hye-soo, and Suzy, said, "I won the award, Yeonjin! I'm so excited. I wanted to do it for the last time. I really wanted to receive it. Thank you so much for giving me this." Kim Eun-sook said. “I think the writer is an honor to me. I was very happy and painful while acting, but it made me want to act even harder in the future,” he said.

Kim Jong-kook and Lee Eun-ji received the TV entertainment award. Lee Eun-ji, who came on stage with tears in her eyes, said, "I am so grateful for this award. On the other hand, I am embarrassed. The seniors in front of me know better, but there is nothing I can do alone in entertainment. I will never take this award lightly and will use it in my future life. “I will use it as good nourishment for the pain and sadness that will come,” he said. Kim Jong-kook added, "I have gained a lot from doing entertainment. I live my life trying to become a bright, positive, and better person. I will continue to work hard with a grateful heart."

'A Christmas Carol' Jin-young Park, who is set to enlist in the army on May 8, said, "I am so grateful to all the directors, staff, seniors, and fellow actors who were on set. I will ask the BH agency family to take good care of me even after I return from the military. I think this is just the beginning. “I will continue acting for a long time,” he pledged. 'Next Sohee' Kim Si-eun said, "I really thought I wouldn't be nervous, but I'm so nervous. I think it's an honor just to be in this place with so many shining people."
The Gucci Impact Award, which debuted this year, is an award given to works that contain messages of diversity, fairness, and inclusiveness among the works selected for the Baeksang Arts Awards, and the movie 'Daum Sohee' was honored with the award.
