KBS 2TV's 'Elegant Empire', which is attracting attention as Lee Sang-bo's return to the small screen, is scheduled to be broadcast for the first time in August following 'Secret Woman'.
Lee Sang-bo was in trouble in September of last year when he was falsely accused of drug use. At that time, the police responded to a report that a man who appeared to be drunk was running around the streets in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and immediately arrested Lee Sang-bo on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act. Lee Sang-bo, who tested positive for 'morphine' in a simple drug reagent test, complained that it was because of the ingredients of the antidepressant he was taking, saying, "I did not use drugs."
Later, as a result of a detailed analysis of Lee Sang-bo's urine and hair at the National Forensic Service, no 'morphine' component was detected, and the police finally dismissed Lee Sang-bo as 'no charges'.
