Tensions Rise in 'Dr. Shin' as Love Triangle Intensifies with a Dramatic Rescue

In the latest episode of TV CHOSUN's weekend mini-series 'Dr. Shin', aired on the night of the 18th, viewers witnessed a dramatic turn of events as Jeong I-chan's character, Shin Ju-shin, revealed his deepening feelings for Ju Se-bin's character, Geum Bara, culminating in a tense 'breath revival ending'.

The episode unfolded with Geum Bara, who had spent a happy night with Ha Yong-jung (played by Ahn Woo-yeon), suddenly announcing her departure. Meanwhile, Shin Ju-shin discovered that the person Geum Bara truly liked was Ha Yong-jung.

In a touching moment, Shin Ju-shin comforted a frightened Geum Bara during a thunderstorm, expressing his feelings by holding her tightly. Despite her embarrassment, Geum Bara invited him for ramen, leading to a humorous exchange at a self-service ramen cafe. Shin Ju-shin's unexpected casualness, even eating Geum Bara's ice cream, brought laughter as he joked about sharing beneficial bacteria.

Shin Ju-shin's playful attempt to kiss Geum Bara was rejected, but he confessed his feelings, saying, "I didn't expect to like you." Geum Bara, reflecting on her feelings for Ha Yong-jung, felt conflicted, while Shin Ju-shin promised to wait patiently.

Meanwhile, Ha Yong-jung, witnessing Geum Bara leaving Shin Ju-shin's car, confronted Shin Ju-shin about their relationship. Shin Ju-shin candidly admitted his proposal to Geum Bara, which she declined, leaving Ha Yong-jung surprised. Despite Ha Yong-jung's warning not to disrupt Geum Bara's life, Shin Ju-shin insisted his feelings were genuine.

The plot thickened as Shin Ju-shin confided in Momo (played by Baek Seo-ra), who harbors Kim Jin-joo's brain, about his proposal. Momo's anger erupted, questioning why Geum Bara was chosen. Shin Ju-shin's indifferent response only fueled Momo's rage.

Later, Geum Bara and Ha Yong-jung shared a drink, where Ha Yong-jung questioned her feelings for Shin Ju-shin. Geum Bara provocatively suggested she might have considered Shin Ju-shin if not for Momo, leading to a passionate night between her and Ha Yong-jung.

The episode concluded with a shocking twist as Shin Ju-shin learned from Momo that Geum Bara planned to leave the country. Rushing to her home, he found her packing and questioned if he was the reason for her departure. Geum Bara admitted she had feelings for someone else, leaving Shin Ju-shin heartbroken. In a dramatic climax, Geum Bara suffered a sudden respiratory attack, prompting Shin Ju-shin to perform a life-saving procedure, intensifying the suspense around their entangled relationships.
