Hyun-cheol of 'Balais Flower Lover' passed away on the 15th due to chronic illness

According to the pop music industry on the 16th, Hyun-cheol passed away on the 15th from a chronic illness at a hospital in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Hangnyeon 82 years old.
Hyun-cheol was active in releasing new songs until the 2010s, but it was reported that he had health problems, such as appearing in KBS' 'Gayo Stage' in 2018 and showing signs of difficulty while singing the hit song 'Impossible Love.'
It is known that Hyuncheol's health deteriorated due to nerve damage after undergoing cervical disc surgery several years ago, and he has been struggling with the disease for a long time. It wasn't easy for him to move around, so much so that he couldn't attend the funerals of broadcaster Song Hae and singer Hyunmi.
Hyeon-cheol, born in 1942, debuted in 1969 with 'Heartless You' and went through a period of obscurity for more than 10 years, but released hit songs such as 'Balsy Love', 'Bring Back My Youth', and 'I Think of You Whether I Sit or Stand'.
He has one son and one daughter, and his funeral will be held at Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
