J-Sera releases female version remake of ‘Borrowing This Song’
Singer J-CERA will release a remake of December's original song 'Borrowing This Song' on the 15th.

The original song 'Borrowing This Song', released in 2012, gained popularity through the sad melody and captivating singing of male duo December, and was a song that gave strength to the ballad craze at the time.

J. Sera's remake version tells a sad story from a woman's perspective, giving the song a new feel. It was created as a song that shows a dramatic flow after an emotional intro that starts with a lonely piano melody.

‘Please don’t leave me / … … Like the lyrics, 'Because this is the only way I can hold on to you / I'll speak on behalf of my heart / Borrowing this song,' the sadness of having no choice but to hold on to a departing love goes beyond sorrow and leads to unsweetness.

The song was arranged and produced by composers Go Byeong-sik and Lee Hyeong-seong, who have been active in music through albums and OSTs with numerous domestic and foreign artists, and released a well-made remake, showing off their musical chemistry with J-Sera.

A music production official expressed expectations, saying, “We expect a positive response as another luxury remake with J-Sera’s excellent song interpretation and sensuous arrangement, which has joined the recent remake music craze in the music industry.”

J-Sera's 'Borrowing This Song' will be released at 6pm on the 15th (Sunday).
