82MAJOR Returns with Mature Sound in New Mini Album 'FEELM'
The group 82MAJOR has returned with a more mature sound. On the 28th, 82MAJOR (comprising Nam Sung-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Sung-il, Hwang Sung-bin, and Kim Do-kyun) held a media showcase at Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their fifth mini-album 'FEELM'.
'FEELM' is their first album in about six months since their previous mini-album 'Trophy' released in October last year. All members participated in writing, composing, and arranging the album. The title track 'Sign' features a dreamy melody and restrained beat, depicting the exchange of emotions and the closeness between two people through lyrics about a 'signal that connects you and me', with a catchy hook.
The team's atmosphere greatly influences 82MAJOR's unique musical style. Jo Sung-il shared, "Except for the youngest, we're all the same age. The youngest isn't much younger and is strong, so he keeps us in line. We have a great relationship and teamwork, which shows in our music. We can give clear and bold feedback on ideas, leading to good music."
They expressed a desire to film a challenge with actor Lee Byung-hun and BTS's Jungkook. Nam Sung-mo said, "I want to film a challenge with actor Lee Byung-hun. The challenge choreography reminded me of a gesture from 'Inside Men'," causing laughter. Park Seok-jun added, "I was touched when BTS's Jungkook reposted our post on social media. I want to express my gratitude by doing a challenge together."
As 82MAJOR makes their comeback, various artists are returning to the music scene. Jo Sung-il shared, "The competition this time is intense. We want to showcase our music and performances to many people and achieve good results on music shows and charts." He added, "We will continue to grow for better music. We hope our music reaches more people."
82MAJOR's fifth mini-album 'FEELM' was released on various music sites at 6 PM today.
