Suga and IU ‘People Pt. 2' No. 1 on Japanese Oricon Daily Digital Single

BTS' Suga's pre-released solo song ranked first on Japan's Oricon Daily Digital Single Ranking.

According to his agency Big Hit Music on the 9th, the pre-released song 'People Pt. 2 (feat. IU)' from Suga's solo album 'D-DAY' was released on the latest chart (as of April 7) released by Japan's Oricon on the 8th. At the same time, it went straight to first place in the ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’.

'People Pt.2 (feat. IU)' was also streamed 3,404,828 times on the first day in the latest 'Daily Top Song Global' chart (as of April 7) announced by Spotify, the world's largest music streaming company, on the 7th. and ranked 11th. As of the 8th, it ranked first on the iTunes 'Top Song' chart in 87 countries/regions around the world.

'People Pt.2 (feat. IU)', a pre-released song from Suga's solo album 'D-DAY' released under the stage name Agust D, is a harmony between Suga's comfortable rap and IU's clear tone centered on the boom bap rhythm. Eru is a pop R&B genre song. Suga expressed the relationships and emotions between people that seem meaningless in hindsight but are constantly repeated, with the sensibility of Agust D.
