IVE's Gaeul Graces the Cover of Chinese Fashion Magazine KNIGHT
On the 22nd, KNIGHT magazine unveiled Gaeul's photoshoot and interview, capturing her diverse charms under the theme 'SUPER SWEET AND COOL'. The photoshoot has garnered a hot response from global fans, showcasing her contrasting allure from a Barbie-like sweet visual to a chic vibe completed with smoky makeup.
In the photos, Gaeul exudes luxurious charisma with a black dress paired with glamorous accessories, while in another shot, she displays a soft gaze and natural mood, proving her versatility in concept execution.
Regarding her solo track 'Odd', which received an explosive response, Gaeul shared, "As it was my first solo song, I had many concerns about what concept to choose and how to express the song in my own style. I practiced a lot since I was performing alone and incorporated many of my ideas. I felt I grew a lot during the process of completing the song."
About her performance in 'Death Game', she said, "I enjoy survival variety shows. I think my survival instincts came out when I was in a one-on-one situation." She added, "Although I appeared calm on the outside, I wasn't actually calm. As someone with zero competitiveness, I was surprised to discover a new side of myself through 'Death Game'."
Finally, Gaeul reflected on the biggest change since her debut, saying, "I've discovered a lot of my charms." She continued, "I didn't know when I shone the most, but thanks to Dive (IVE's official fandom) who loved and cherished many aspects of me, I think I've become the shining Gaeul of IVE."
IVE, with Gaeul, successfully concluded their second world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM' at Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 18th and 19th. They will continue their tour in various cities including Manila, Singapore, Macau, Australia, and New Zealand, and will visit Tokyo Dome on June 24th.
