The movie 'The Cursed' tells a chilling story of people who enter the ghost trading market 'The Cursed' through a fox window, seeking what they cannot have.

In the film, Sumin plays the role of Suyeon, the daughter of Heejin (played by Seo Young-hee), who stakes everything to get her daughter into a prestigious university by entering the forbidden market 'The Cursed'. Sumin is expected to vividly portray the character of Suyeon, a student obsessed with grades and college entrance exams, elevating realistic anxieties into spine-chilling horror.

This marks Sumin's first foray into acting since her debut in 2020. She is set to showcase a different charm from her stage presence by expressing delicate yet intense emotions. STAYC recently concluded their successful 'STAY TUNED' world tour across eight Asian cities and will continue their performances in 10 cities across the U.S. starting in October. They have also solidified their presence as 'Summer Queens' through various music festivals and award shows.
