Korean Actress Go Min-si's Name Missing from 'Master of the World' Poster Amid School Violence Allegations

'Master of the World' is the third feature film by director Yoon Ga-eun, known for her acclaimed short films 'Guest' (2011) and 'Sprout' (2013), which garnered attention at international film festivals such as the Berlin International Film Festival and the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Her feature debut, 'The World of Us' (2016), was officially invited to the Berlin International Film Festival and won the Best New Director award at the Blue Dragon Film Awards. Her follow-up film, 'The House of Us' (2019), further established her as a promising director in the Korean film industry.

On the 20th, Go Min-si's agency told TenAsia, "The omission of her name is not due to the controversy," and clarified, "Her role is a special appearance, so her name was never intended to be on the poster."
In May, allegations of school violence involving Go Min-si surfaced on social media, causing a stir. Her agency, Mystic Story (Mystic Actors), stated, "These are clearly false accusations and baseless," and added, "After confirming with the actress, we verified that the allegations are untrue. We trust our actress." However, no further clarification has been provided in the three months since.

The lack of a proactive response from her agency, especially when compared to their handling of similar allegations against actor Jo Han-sun, coupled with Go Min-si's past controversies, including admitting to underage drinking in 2021, has left netizens puzzled.
