New Stills from 'The Devil Came Home' Tease a Quirky Romance with a Devilish Twist

Director Lee Sang-geun, known for 'Exit,' unveils new stills from his latest film, 'The Devil Came Home,' showcasing a quirky romance with a devilish twist. The intriguing chemistry between stars Im Yoon-ah and Ahn Bo-hyun is already capturing attention.

'The Devil Came Home' is a devil-possessed comedy that follows the story of Gil-gu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), an unemployed young man who gets caught up in an extraordinary part-time job of monitoring Seon-ji (played by Im Yoon-ah), who transforms into a devil every dawn.

The film promises a spicy-sweet blend of humor and has released five new stills that highlight the unique chemistry between the devilish Seon-ji, dressed in vibrant colors, and the innocent Gil-gu, whose large frame contrasts with his puppy-like charm. Particularly captivating are scenes where Gil-gu makes a pinky promise with Seon-ji and gently cradles her head, showcasing his harmless yet dependable allure that is sure to captivate audiences. Additionally, Seon-ji's playful gaze as she clings to a tennis net and her mischievous expression while riding behind Gil-gu on a scooter spark curiosity about the dynamics between the two.

In contrast to the addictive devilish Seon-ji, daytime interactions between her and Gil-gu reveal a different warmth. Gil-gu's shy smile and thumbs-up gesture, met with Seon-ji's upward glance and smile, create a warm atmosphere distinct from the eerie nights. The film teases how Gil-gu will navigate his interactions with Seon-ji's dual personas.

'The Devil Came Home' is set to hit theaters nationwide on August 13.
