Held annually in the summer at the Waldbühne, an outdoor amphitheater meaning 'Stage of the Forest,' the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra concert has become a traditional classical performance marking the end of a season. This year's concert, themed 'Latin American Night,' will be conducted by the world-renowned Gustavo Dudamel, who will lead the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra in a mesmerizing performance. Additionally, Grammy-winning bass-baritone Ryan Speedo Green will join the stage, captivating the audience with his rich emotion and powerful voice.
The concert program includes Arturo Márquez's 'Danzón No. 8,' Antonio Estévez's 'Mediodía en el Llano,' and Leonard Bernstein's 'Symphonic Dances' from the musical 'West Side Story,' offering a blend of enchanting Latin American melodies and American sensibilities.
Kim Se-hwan, Team Leader at Lotte Cultureworks, stated, "The live broadcast of the 'Vienna Philharmonic Summer Night Concert' on the 14th was met with enthusiastic responses from the audience. This concert, in particular, will allow audiences to enjoy an exotic and passionate musical experience, creating a festive atmosphere in the theater."
