Throughout the film, Jung Sung-il portrays the invader with a relaxed gaze, a condescending tone towards the Joseon people, and an arrogant expression, offering a fresh take to the audience. Additionally, he brings the unique samurai action of a Japanese general to life with realism, enhancing the viewing experience.

To achieve such high-quality action, Jung Sung-il underwent months of rigorous practice. In the released photos, he is seen in comfortable attire, holding swords in both hands with a serious expression, fully engaged in practice. Unlike other characters, his role requires wielding swords with both hands, necessitating more practice, including horseback riding and Japanese language training, demonstrating his dedication reminiscent of actual filming.

Since the release of 'Jeon, Ran', Jung Sung-il has captivated audiences with his standout action and impressive voice, adding chemistry with Cheonyeong and Jongryeo (played by Park Jung-min), providing diverse entertainment.

Jung Sung-il's explosive energy in action practice scenes has contributed to the Netflix film 'Jeon, Ran' reaching 3rd place in the global TOP 10 films (non-English) category since its release on the 11th, garnering significant attention from viewers worldwide.
