Actress Emma Stone of the movie 'Poor Things' won the Best Actress Award at the 77th British Academy Awards.

Actress Emma Stone, who starred in the movie 'Poor Things' (directed by Yorogos Lanthimos), won the Best Actress Award at the 77th British Academy Awards (BAFTA).

'Poor Things' is a film about the life of Bella Baxter, who was given a new life by Dr. Godwin Baxter. Director Yorgos Lanthimos of 'The Favorite: The Queen's Woman' and 'The Lobster' took charge of directing, and actors Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, and Willem Dafoe participated.

At the 77th British Academy Awards, it won trophies for Best Actress, Best Art, Best Costume, Best Makeup, and Best Visual Effects. Emma Stone, who played the role of Bella Baxter, has been evaluated as "a marvel itself." Foreign media outlets are receiving favorable reviews, such as “beauty, wonder, and amazing imagination” (Wall Street Journal) and “exploding with ecstatic colors” (LA Times).

The movie ‘Poor Things’ is scheduled to be released in Korea on March 6th.
