The movie ‘May December’ won the National Film Critics Association Award for Best Actor and Best Screenplay.

'May December', a new film directed by Todd Haynes of the movie 'Carol' (2015), won the Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay awards at the National Society of Film Critics Awards.

'May December' is a film about the fascinating truths, lies, and secrets shared between Gracie (Julianne Moore), who made the front page of the newspaper with her shocking romance, and Elizabeth (Natalie Portman), an ambitious actress who plays him in the movie.

At this awards ceremony, which is selected by votes from 61 of America's most famous film critics, actor Charles Melton won with a total of 51 votes, and Sammy Burch won the Best Original Screenplay award. 'May December' won two National Film Critics Association Awards, including the American Film Institute AFI Film of the Year Award, the Gotham Awards Best Supporting Actor Award, the New York Film Critics Association Best Supporting Actor Award, the Santa Barbara International Film Festival Virtuoso Award, and the Montclair International Film Festival Director Award. In addition, expectations were raised by the meeting of actors Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore, as well as the casting of Charles Melton, a Korean actor in Netflix's 'Riverdale'.

The movie 'May December' is scheduled to be released domestically in the first half of 2024.
