Jeong Ga-eun "I dreamed of being a wise mother and good wife, but it was difficult and not right"
Interview with Jeong Ga-eun as Lee Seon in the movie ‘A Life of Nothing Special’

On the afternoon of the 5th, Jeong Ga-eun told various stories about the movie ‘An Unimportant Life’ (directed by Seo Dong-heon) at the entrance of Lotte Cinema Konkuk University in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul.
'An Unimportant Life' is a time-slip fantasy melodrama about Lee Seon, who goes to the past right before he dies, encounters his old lovers and tries to find love once again.
Jeong Ga-eun plays the main character Lee Seon, who tries to disguise an extreme choice in the play. Lee Seon is a character who goes on a time travel to look back on his past before he dies.
On this day, Jeong Ga-eun said about the reason why she appeared in 'A Life of No Matter How Much', saying, "I met director Seo Dong-heon in February-March, which was late winter and early spring last year. I received the script before I met the director. After receiving the script, I thought, 'Am I a good person to star in a movie? ?' When I read the script, I thought the role was similar to what I was in. I thought, ‘I can empathize with Lee Seon and play it.’”

Jeong Ga-eun said, "The director was certain that he wanted me to do it, so I asked him, 'Why did you choose me?' I asked him why he chose me since I am not a guaranteed actor and actor. The director asked me for the role of Lee Seon. “It seems like someone next to me was talking about me while I was writing it. The director said that as soon as he heard that story, he thought it was Jeong Ga-eun. I think the director had a feeling that it was me.”
In addition, Jeong Ga-eun said, "I had the thought that 'This is my life' right from the title of the movie. Although the title was the same, I thought that just by looking at the title, the conclusion at the end would be 'It's not a very special life.' In fact, I liked it better if it was done in an ironic way. “Everyone thinks my life is really worthless,” he confessed.
Jeong Ga-eun said, "When I look at SNS these days, I see a lot of other people's glamorous lives posted. When I look at those things, I feel relatively deprived. There are a lot of things posted about things like hotel vacations, luxury bags, nice cars, etc. When I look at that, I think, 'My life is so special.' “I think, ‘There’s nothing to see.’ I think that’s the case for everyone. Everyone clearly has all sorts of things to see.”
Not only that, "It's not like that now, but I was like that when I was in my 20s and 30s. I met a talented, cool man and wanted to do broadcasting as a hobby rather than trying to make a living. My dream was to be a wise mother and good wife. When I actually tried, I realized that being a wise mother and good wife wasn't for me. “When I was young, I vaguely dreamed of becoming a wise mother and good wife, but becoming a wise mother and good wife was a really difficult task,” he said honestly.
Meanwhile, 'An Unimportant Life' will be released on the 12th.
