The third film of Marvel Cinematic Universe Page 5, ‘The Marvels’ (directed by Nia DaCosta), is scheduled to be released on the 8th. 'The Marvels', which integrates the worldview of the dramas 'Ms Marvel', 'WandaVision', and 'Secret Invasion', depicts the process of collaboration between Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Camilla Khan. How will the solidarity of the three female heroes unfold?

'The Marvels' is a hero action blockbuster in which Carol Danvers, the hero who protects the universe, unexpectedly encounters a new team play as she falls into a crisis where she switches positions with Monica Rambeau and Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan every time she uses her abilities.
When asked how she felt about joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as a director for the first time and whether she felt any pressure about directing the sequel to the series, director Nia DaCosta said, "When I heard the news (of being confirmed as director), I couldn't believe it. I was a huge fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “I was excited to have fun working on it. Rather than making a sequel to ‘Captain Marvel,’ my idea was to make sequels to all of ‘Secret Invasion,’ ‘WandaVision,’ and ‘Ms. Marvel,’ and I hoped that the journey would be conveyed well,” he explained.

Even before its release, 'The Marbles' attracted attention due to the casting of Korean actor Park Seo-joon. Director Nia DaCosta, who has always been interested in Korean content, said, "When I was 17 to 19 years old, I was immersed in Korean culture regardless of genre. I watched a lot of Korean dramas and entertainment shows. The dramas were 'My Name is Kim Sam-soon' and 'On Air.' ', I watched 'The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince' a lot, so I knew the actors well," he said, expressing his affection.

Park Seo-joon, who made his Hollywood debut, is the third Korean actor to appear in the MCU, following Soo-hyun, who appeared in 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', and Ma Dong-seok, who appeared in 'Eternals'. Accordingly, Korean audiences have high expectations for Prince Yan's screen size and role. Director Nia DaCosta said about the role of Prince Jan, "Through this film, I wanted to return to the past of 'Captain Marvel'. Although the screen time is short, the character has a strong presence. He is a person with a deep connection to Captain Marvel. “There is a connection between the two in that there are people around them that they want to protect,” he said.

Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel switch locations when they use their abilities. There must have been difficulties in coordinating the actions. Director Nia DaCosta said, "It was a fun and challenging task. It was possible thanks to the great staff and we tried to convey a clear vision. We also tried to differentiate the action style in the battle scenes, because the characters have different personalities and powers. Captain Marvel is “The power is great, Monica Rambeau is meticulous, and Ms. Marvel is young, so I tried to highlight her genius.”
Nia DaCosta, director of 'The Marvels', which is scheduled to be released in Korea on November 8th, shared her thoughts and greetings with Korean audiences. Director Nia DaCosta said, "(surprisingly) November 8th, the date of the Korean release, is my birthday. I hope you enjoy the movie. It will be a birthday present to you all. Please give us a lot of interest. Thank you."
