According to American media outlets such as Variety and The Hollywood Report on the 7th (local time), 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3 (hereinafter referred to as Gao Gal 3)' opened at the North American box office at $114 million (approximately KRW 150.5 billion) on the first weekend of release. was recorded. The previous work, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' (USD 146 million, approximately KRW 192.7 billion).

In 'Gaogael 3', Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), who was grieving over the loss of Gamora (Zoe Saldana), joins forces with the Guardians team once again to protect the galaxy and his colleagues in crisis. In North America, the first weekend performance was lower than expected, but the global box office performance was positive. It earned $168 million (about KRW 221.8 billion) in 52 countries.
