When asked about his impressions of debuting on the screen, Kim Seon-ho smiled, saying, "To be honest, I was nervous and watched without hesitation. Nevertheless, it was a glorious and happy moment to see myself on the screen."
Then, regarding the character of 'Scion' he played, "When I read the script, I thought, 'Huh? Why are they following me like this?' We talked about showing what we enjoy, and we tried.”
Kim Seon-ho played the role of a mysterious scion chasing Marco (Kang Tae-joo) in 'The Scion'. A person who can be seen as a villain depending on the situation and perspective. In response to the question of comparing the Scion as a villain and the Han Yi-sa character played by Kim Kang-woo, Kim Seon-ho said, “Han is really extreme. In '', senior Kim Kang-woo was the best villain, and it's an honor for me to dare to stand shoulder to shoulder as a villain," he laughed.

When asked how he felt about taking on the title role of 'The Scion', he said, "In fact, at first I knew it as the title of 'Sad Tropical'. The title was changed, but I thought all three characters were scoundrels. Senior Kim Kang-woo's director Han was the 'original scion', Kang Tae-ju was the 'new scion', and I thought 'the name is the scion'," he joked.
In this 'Scion', Kim Seon-ho drew attention with various types of action scenes such as shooting action and car chasing action. At the end of filming, he lost 3kg. He said, "Because I ran less than Kang Tae-joo, I was maintaining my weight, but the action scene at the end was intense, and as I made a lot of sums in a small place, the sum changed a lot. In the process, I lost some weight." Then, he explained, "In the case of guns and car chasing, I consulted with the action team and asked for advice.

At the same time, regarding the change of the title from 'Sad Tropical' to 'Scion', he said, "There was a little sadness in the original title 'Sad Tropical', but the sadness disappeared" and "The characters came out strong during the filming and editing process. The characters stood out, and in the end, I decided to be a 'Scion' because I wanted the person who made this edition to stand out a little more."
In response to a question about the comedic element felt in the actors' lines in the middle of the movie, director Park said, "I try and aim for black comedy in every work, but it doesn't work well." A lot of parts have been removed,” he said.
Director Park Hoon-jung also explained the change in the character of the scion. The scion, who hates to lose his style, maintains a clean style while continuing to chase and shoot, but at the end, his face is covered in blood, culminating in a bloody fight. Regarding this, director Park said, "I think I like clean crazy people. That's why I think I liked the name 'Scion'. I think the 'Scion' character would prefer a clean gun." I was a little confused because I wanted to give it to you," she laughed.
Director Park drew attention by emphasizing "The Scion", saying, "Isn't it the story of those who are discriminated against? I wanted to tell a story about those who are discriminated against.
