'The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes', a brilliant summer in a different time
'The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes' is a fantasy youth romance where high school students 'Kaoru' and 'Anzu' discover the 'Urashima Tunnel' where time flows differently and spend a splendid summer together to fulfill their respective wishes. Even before its release, expectations were raised as a well-made film that won special awards at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and the Bucheon International Animation Festival.
The main poster released catches the eye with the appearance of 'Kaoru' and 'Anzu' standing in front of the tunnel. The 'Urashima Tunnel' located at the end of the railroad tracks is '6 hours in 10 seconds... As can be seen from the copy, 'Tunnel where time flows differently', it makes wishes come true, but the time inside and outside the tunnel is clearly different.
Nevertheless, the footsteps of 'Kaoru' and 'Anzu' lead towards the tunnel, and 'Kaoru' who walks in the lead creates a sense of longing for 'Anzu' to follow. Moreover, with the emotional drawing that shows off the clear and blue sky and the copy of 'I'll wait for you to come', the curiosity about the development of romance between the two people surrounding the tunnel is amplified.
The movie 'The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes' will be released in Korea on September 14th.
