Jung Yu-mi and Lee Sun-gyun Movie 'Sleep', "A strange genre movie that I have never seen before"

The movie 'Sleep' (director Yoo Jae-sun) has released a 'sleepless production video' that vividly captures the behind-the-scenes of the filming site.

'Sleep' is a movie depicting the story of two people trying to unravel the secret of the terrible fear that begins the moment they fall asleep, and the husband Hyeon-soo's strange behavior during sleep that overwhelms the happy newlyweds Hyeon-su and Su-jin like a nightmare. It was successfully released for the first time at the Critics' Week of the 76th Cannes International Film Festival, receiving enthusiastic applause.

In the released video, actress Jung Yoo-mi conveyed her impression when she first received the scenario, saying, “The things that are concise and clear are attractive.”

Actor Lee Seon-gyun said, “It was a strange genre movie that I had never seen before. There was something simple and unique that was hard to tie into any one category.”

Director Yoo Jae-seon mentioned the reason for writing the scenario, saying, "I wanted to draw a couple who believe in each other, rely on each other, support each other, and are like best friends, and throw the two of them an unprecedented obstacle that is no one's fault."

The movie 'Sleep' is scheduled to be released on September 6th.
