After 'Sin City 3'... Summer market in July, 'smuggling' is coming

<Criminal City 3> was released on May 31st, and after about a month and a half of the box office race, on July 8th, the total number of viewers in the series exceeded 30 million. <Sin City 3>, which set a unique record as a Korean series film, showed that the audience's interest in Korean films has not cooled down yet. In the midst of this, interest is gathering in films that will be displayed in the summer market, which begins at the end of July, the best part of the theater district.
<Smuggling> is a maritime crime action drama in which people get caught up in a life-long conflict in front of people who make a living by rescuing daily necessities thrown into the sea. <Smuggling>, which was confirmed to be released on July 26 early this year and is preparing to meet with the audience, is a work that combines interesting subjects and stories with director Ryoo Seung-wan's long-standing action and crime genres. The combination of attractive actors such as Kim Hye-soo, Yeom Jeong-ah, Jo In-seong, Park Jung-min, Kim Jong-soo, and Go Min-si, as well as <Veteran>, <Exit>, and <Mogadishu>, etc. It is also a work of interest. It is expected to be released for the first time at a media preview on July 18th, raising expectations from critics and audiences.
Meanwhile, Ma Dong-seok, who is the planner of the <Crime City> series universe and plays the role of detective Ma Seok-do, has a deep relationship with director Ryoo Seung-wan and the producer of <Smuggling>. Ma Dong-seok, who showed a strong presence despite appearing for a short time as the president of Artbox in <Veteran>, has transformed his visual and acting skills into the role of a chef at a Chinese restaurant in <Startup> by Oeyunae Lecture at a film company. Director Ryoo Seung-wan showed his face in the <Crime City 3> cheering video, highlighting the relationship between the works. Attention is focusing on whether the two works with a special relationship can successfully hit the box office baton.
