Jung Sung-il and Cho Yeo-jeong 'Interview', a dangerous encounter between a serial killer and a reporter

The movie 'The Interview' (director Youngjun Cho) was cranked in on July 17th.

'Interview' is the story of an unprecedented serial killer named 'Young-hoon' (Jung Seong-il), who killed 11 people, offering a special interview to veteran reporter 'Seon-joo' (Cho Yeo-jeong) desperate for a scoop.

Actress Cho Yeo-jeong, who showed stable acting in 'Parasite' (2019), 'Human Addiction' (2014), and 'The Target' (2014), took on the role of 'Seonju', a social affairs reporter thirsty for scoops. 'Seonju' is a professional character who conducts interviews full of density and tension, demonstrating the reporter's unique temperament even in front of a dangerous interviewer called a serial killer.

Through the dramas 'The Glory' and 'Our Blues', popular actor Jung Seong-il played the role of 'Young-hoon'. The character 'Younghoon' killed 11 people, but he has a brilliant brain and meticulous personality enough to cover up his crimes perfectly. He is going to show off his undisturbed appearance even in front of 'Sunju', a reporter specializing in scoops.

Cho Yeo-jeong and Jung Sung-il participated in the script reading before filming. In the open reading scene stills, you can feel the tense tension that the boundary between the special reporter (Cho Yeo-jeong) interviewer and the serial killer (Jeong Seong-il) interviewer in charge of the two actors is collapsing.

'Interview' is provided by A2G Entertainment, a subsidiary of WYSIWYG Studio, which has established itself by implementing excellent VFX technology in 'The Witch' (2018) and 'Seungri-ho' (2021), and With A Studio is in charge of production. Along with this, Sony Pictures Entertainment Korea cooperates with joint provision and distribution.

The movie 'The Interview' was cranked in on the 17th and is being filmed with the goal of releasing next year.
