'I Am Solo' Star Jeong-suk Battles Insomnia During Japan Trip

Jeong-suk from the 20th season of 'I Am Solo' recently shared her struggles with insomnia during a trip to Japan.

In a recent post, Jeong-suk revealed, "I quietly came to Fukuoka! I'm heading back today. I couldn't stay in Korea any longer, so I somehow made it here. The first two days were tough as I kept vomiting and couldn't sleep. On the second evening, I wondered if I should live differently and if I was wrong. On the last day, I thought, 'How can I sleep?' and finally passed out listening to a podcast. Once again, I couldn't overcome my challenges..."

She continued, "I'm so grateful and sorry to my friend who has been taking care of me warmly. As I watched them sleep soundly beside me, I thought, 'At least you're sleeping well.' Moments like these feel like love. I think I understand why my pets always look at me. Do you know the famous quote from 'Pride and Prejudice'? I really related to it in my early 30s but had forgotten. This trip made me realize my arrogance. Prejudice prevents me from loving others, and arrogance prevents others from loving me."

Previously, Jeong-suk shared, "I visited the emergency room twice in two days. The first time I collapsed, and the second time I couldn't control my speech or movements, so I went for a brain scan. I've been overworking and striving for perfection in everything, and my body finally gave in to the stress. I hope there's nothing wrong with my brain. Even while hospitalized, I was discussing ideas with a friend. I guess I don't know how to rest. I've been trained that way since working at a company. Even now, I'm writing this in the morning. Please understand if things are slow or not perfect for a while. I'll recover soon!"

Meanwhile, Jeong-suk had announced her wedding with Young-ho from 'I Am Solo' on May 18, 2025. However, the sudden news of their breakup surprised many.
