Korean Actress Ko Jun-hee Showcases Her 20-Year Hermes Bag Collection

Korean actress Ko Jun-hee recently flaunted her impressive collection of 17 Hermes bags.

On the 27th, Ko Jun-hee's YouTube channel 'Ko Jun-hee GO' released a video titled 'Ko Jun-hee's First Reveal of Hermes Bags Collected Over 20 Years.'

In the video, Ko gathered her Hermes bags collected over two decades, stating, "I've gathered all the Hermes bags I have at home. I think there are some I've never even used." She added, "Timing is everything with Hermes bags. If you see one, you have to buy it," sharing her unique philosophy on luxury purchases.

Despite owning 17 Hermes bags, Ko humorously remarked, "These days, I can't buy them. I don't have the money, so I can't buy them," adding, "In the past, if the timing was right, I would buy them immediately." She emphasized her experiences of unexpectedly finding bags in stores.

Ko also discussed the changing dynamics of purchasing Hermes bags, saying, "Nowadays, they say you have to spend thousands to even see a bag," and noted, "Even in the past, you had to buy shoes, clothes, and scarves together, but it wasn't in the thousands."

She candidly spoke about the prices, revealing she bought an Hermes bag for less than 5 million won and a vintage piece for 500,000 won, which caught attention.

Regarding luxury bag purchases, Ko stated, "Once you buy it, the idea is to use it for life," showcasing an old bag and expressing her affection, "I've been using it for over 10 years, and it still looks new."

Ko also shared how she first started buying bags, recalling, "I bought my first in Paris in my mid-20s as a gift for my mom, which started my Hermes journey." She added, "They showed me several bags, and I was so fascinated that I bought one."

She recounted a family-related episode, where during a trip to Japan, she competed with her close friend Kim Young-ah over a Hermes bag, saying, "We even played rock-paper-scissors. I won, but my mom told me to give it up, which led to a big argument." She laughed, "My dad eventually said he'd buy it for me, so we went back to the store."

Having collected various Hermes bags over 20 years, Ko concluded, "Finding your style is also a form of growth," and humorously added, "Hermes never betrays. Men might, but Hermes never does."
